Fiona is a 2018 Irish Sporthorse mare. Her dam was imported from Ireland, and her sire is a Thoroughbred. Sire is Amaruk, Dam sire is Newmarket Jewel. She is the ideal future Eventer. Talented enough for a pro, kind and straightforward enough for an amateur to develop. She is bold, brave, well adjusted, and sensitive in a good way. Started under saddle in September, she is ready to go and win the Young Event Horse Classes this Summer. Ridden 4x week, jumping once per week max, she is a confident trail horse (alone or with friends) and has been hauled out and about for mileage. Successfully schools small XC questions including water, ditches with no issue, and has been happily longed over many bigger fences. She loves to jump! Lovely rhythmic mover with a super canter and three correct gaits that will just get better and better. She is a pet in the barn and easy to look after. Very sound and healthy. She is a mild roarer but is not exercise intolerant. Her cousin, “Newmarket Jack” just completed Kentucky 5* 2022 with his AA Owner. I would love nothing more than to keep developing Fiona as an Eventer, but I do not own her and I have to share! I will be sad to see her go, good home a must! Because she is so young, please be prepared to bring your trainer for trial rides. $32,500 to increase with more training/showing

“Curioso” is a 16.1hh, 2009 kind and user-friendly OTTB gelding. Originally sourced for the RRP Thoroughbred Makeover, Rio has been excellently cared for since he retired from the track, and has dipped his toes in almost every English riding discipline. He has a great work ethic, and loves to trail ride and jump over stuff. Rio has professional training in Jumpers, Hunters, Foxhunting, Dressage, and most recently, Eventing. Rio is a good traveler and also has a bit of positive show experience. He is good alone, he is good with friends, he is confident, not spooky. He will stroll past dogs, deer, cars, etc without batting an eye. No bucking/rearing/bolting or other under saddle vices. Easy in the barn, no vices there either. For sale through no fault of his own – he has not put a foot wrong, the owner simply does not have the time he deserves. His health has been excellently looked after, he is pre-vetted and up to date. Our priority is to find Rio his perfect match; a confident rider who wants a fun, athletic, all-around partner. Rio really bonds with his riders and likes to know who ‘his people’ are. He has a self-confident attitude and is full of try. More video coming soon!
