Ashleigh Rauen trains sporthorses out of bucolic Vashon Island, specializing in starting young horses under saddle. Her established program focuses on creating well rounded mounts with the skills and confidence to excel in any sporthorse discipline. When she is able to get away from the barn for a weekend, she enjoys competing in Dressage and Eventing. Before going pro, Rauen honed her skills under world class professionals: apprenticing with Grand Prix Champion Jessica Wisdom and then in Germany with Olympian and veritable dressage queen Helen Langehanenberg. She now trains regularly with Tami Masters and and Lisa Boyer. Rauen is a winner at Preliminary level Eventing, a USDF Bronze Medalist, and a member of the Woodbrook Hunt Club.
